E 'can burn high-definition content on a DVD + /-R for playback on Blu-Ray?
If I shoot high-definition movies with an HD camcorder, but do not have access to a Blu-Ray, you can burn high-definition video on a DVD + / – R, once edited on a computer? This is possible with HD-DVD, limited to about 30 minutes of content due to lower capacity of a DVD. If this is possible, please advise what software (Mac or PC, I have both) is required. Just found that this is possible by burning in AVCHD format on DVD, which will be played on a Blu-Ray (not AVCHD DVD players still exists). I would like advice on what the best software on your Mac or PC to do this. Final Cut Pro 6.1 will do it, but I have a PowerPC G5 processor, and this feature is supported only on Intel-based Mac.
You can burn discs on HD DVD-R, but you can not play on the blue rays, you can only play on normal DVD players, Blu-Ray takes only the blue ray discs
