HDTV DVD VCR maintaining hidef?
I'm just curious, I bought an HDTV recently and I want to keep everything in high definition. I found a VCR DVD combo that has HDMI output with upscaling to 1080p. My question is this, I have a high definition satellite dish receiver with RCA and HDMI output. If I connect the receiver satellite through the VCR DVD combo that uses the RCA connection and then using the combo VCR DVD HDMI output to my tv, I will have my final hello from my receiver Satellite? Thanks
"Tex" right, "Human" is wrong. The VCR / DVD player is a device standard-def. If you place it between HD satellite receiver and your HDTV, you're going to see a standard-def. Everything in the transmission path from studio camera screen that descends HD to SD will result in a SD framework. You'll be much happier with a DVR upgrade for the plate for the registration. Able to satisfy your desire to keep everything in HD.
