I understand that the PS2, a Xbox DVD player from these areas or not to play DVDs from another region and I need a code to unlock it to enable it to play in Europe and elsewhere. Can you please advice?
If you buy a PS2 in Europe and buy the DVD in Europe can play anywhere. But when you buy a PS2 in Europe and buy DVDs in the U.S. for example, there may be problems of the region.
