It 'can print a still image from a digital camera video clips?
How can I get a jpg or bmp image from a video in Windows Media Player taken on my digital camera? I still like a print from a digital video taken on vacation. Hey, guys! Thanks for your help! suggestion of Jon worked first time, I did not even know I had that program on your PC! Cheers, Kaz x
Probably the easiest way is to use Windows Movie Maker. Import wmv file and drag strip time. Make sure you have the preview window shown. Hit play on the preview window and pause at the frame you want to keep. (You can go ahead and back one frame at a time with the buttons on the bottom of the preview pane). When did you get the picture you want, look under the preview pane on the right. There is a button to split the film in that frame with two clips and another to take a snapshot. Hit that, and hey presto, save the file in the desired format.
